QrCode Scanner Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the QR Code Scanner application (“App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use the application.

The App does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal information.
The App requests access to your device camera solely to provide its core functionality: scanning QR codes and barcodes. Camera data is processed locally on your device in real time for detection and decoding purposes only.
We do not collect:
- Personal identifiers
- Images or video recordings
- Location data
- Usage analytics
- Device identifiers
- Any scanned content or camera output
The App uses the android.permission.CAMERA permission only while you are actively using scan mode.
Camera access is used exclusively to:
- Detect and decode QR codes or barcodes.
- Record or store images or video
- Send camera data to external servers
- Use the camera in the background
- Use the camera for advertising, tracking, or profiling
- Camera access stops when scanning is closed or when the App is no longer in active use.
When a QR code contains a URL, the App may open the link using your device's default web browser. Any interaction with external websites is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external websites.
4. Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data because the App does not collect user data.
5. Data Storage
No personal or camera-related data is stored locally or remotely by the App.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
7. Security
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no user data stored on external servers by us.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the effective date above.
